We start the box by making its sides.
Bend the metal to make the bottom and sides of the toolbox.
This will create two 6 inch sides and an 8 inch metal bottom.
Measure 6 inches from each end and bend the metal 90 degrees using a sheet metal brake.
It is easier to cut off a 4 x 12 strip if you have a 12 x 12 sheet first then cut two 3 1 2 pieces from that strip.
Insert your metal into your bar folder up to your marked hem line.

1 first you want to make an expanded template for your box out of cardboard paper etc.
The sides will be 3 x 3 but we add 1 2 tabs on three sides.
