I am an a p and taught sheet metal at local trade school.
How to bend sheet metal for a snow plow.
I used 14 ga sheetmetal a 2x4 and a hyd jack with a chain wraped around the plow and the metal jacked down using the chain on top of the jack.
Well its almost done.
Little sketchy that the wood was rotten.
More than that and you start trying to lift the snow instead of pushing it translating to more weight on the blade wich makes the plow harder to push and wear faster.
I just need to bolt the cutting edge on when it comes in.

3 jacks would have worked better for re adjustment reasons.
Bending aluminum accurately is an art.
If you want to have the snow roll in front of the plow just increase the bend at the top of the plow but keep the attack angle of the blade around 18 to 20 degees.
Be precise on the bottom edge and top edge.
Depending on whether you want the snow to be thrown to one side or to both sides you will need to bend the steel into a curve to match your criteria.
Looking at a cross section the outer 60 of the alu will stretch and the inner 40 actually shrink making very accurate bends tricky so if accuracy is important you need to adjust your bend lines accordingly.
Well you are at the right place.
To bend the metal you will need a metal bending fabrication tool.
